These are the rules for using StoreClock. Short and plain. By making an account or paying, you agree to them.

1. What StoreClock is

StoreClock is a tool that keeps track of when workers clock in and out, and adds up hours, overtime and pay using the pay rates you type in. That's it. It does not pay anyone, file taxes, or give legal or accounting advice. Paying your workers correctly and following labor laws is your job.

2. Your account

Your email is your login. Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Do not share your login with a buyer of your store — they open their own account.

3. Price and payment

StoreClock costs $10 a month or $99 a year, per account, with all your stores and workers included. You pay through Stripe. Plans renew on their own until you cancel. Cancel anytime in the app under More → Manage billing. When you cancel, you keep access until the time you paid for runs out. We do not give refunds for time already paid, unless the law says we must.

4. Your data

Your store's data (workers, PINs, punches, pay rates) belongs to you. We store it so the app works. We do not sell it. We do not look at your punches or pay unless you ask us for help. See the Privacy Policy.

5. Worker phones and location

StoreClock checks a worker's phone location only at the moment they clock in or out, to confirm they are at the store. It does not track anyone the rest of the day. Tell your workers this.

6. Fair use

Don't try to break the app, get into someone else's store, or use StoreClock for anything illegal. We can close accounts that do.

7. No promises

We work hard to keep StoreClock running, but the internet, phones and GPS can fail. StoreClock is provided "as is." We are not responsible for lost data, missed punches, wrong pay, or any loss that comes from using the app. If a court says we owe you something, the most it can be is what you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, the version number at the top changes, and you'll be asked to agree again the next time you pay.
